Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998) popularly referred to as MrBeast is an American YouTube star an entrepreneur, philanthropist and entrepreneur. Six years ago, he was recognized as the creator of a type of YouTube videos that focus on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube at the age of 13 years old, and was using the handle "MrBeast6000". He began out posting Let's Plays as well as "videos that estimate how rich other YouTubers are" content. In 2017, he became a viral sensation after his "counting up to 100,000" video earned tens of thousands of views in a matter of days, and he has grown in popularity ever since, with most of his videos receiving hundreds of millions of views.Over time the style of his content diversified to include challenge and donation videos that reward thousands of dollars, videos with arduous challenges or tasks, and original vlogs. Donaldson has enlisted a number of childhood friends to assist him in managing the growing brand after it was established. MrBeast was the main YouTube channel of Donaldson, with 60 members.
